No fees for emergency shelter. The various long-term housing programs all include rental charges, some of which are standard, some of which are adjusted based upon income levels.

Emergency Shelter
Five renovated apartments for homeless single men, women and families. Families can remain together during their stay at the shelter.
All clients are referred from local social service agencies who also provide counseling and other services.
Clients may remain up to 30 days while permanent housing is being coordinated.
Liberty House - Crawford County's first and only transitional housing project for homeless families
Three-story building, opened in the spring of 2005
Four 2-bedroom and two 3-bedroom apartments
Handicap accessible apartments available for those with special needs
Common room, laundry facilities, a place to meet with counselors and the CCCHN offices
Tenants must be income eligible homeless families ready to break the cycle through hard work and counseling and must have at least 1 Dependent Child

One 2-bedroom and four 1-bedroom apartments

The Snodgrass Building - finished in 1997
Eleven-unit apartment building
Located in downtown Meadville
Tenants must be income eligible single persons
Managed for the CCCHN by the Meadville Housing Authority
Affordable Housing - Homes:
The Poplar Street Homes - rehabilitated in 1999
Two 3-bedroom and two 4-bedroom homes
Tenants must be income eligible families and meet program requirements

Donated furniture is collected, sorted and stored on site
The Center for Family Services will give a voucher to those in need
