Make A Difference Day

Make a Difference Day is the United Way of Western Crawford County's largest day of service.

Save the Date! The 25th Annual Make a Difference Day will be held Saturday, October 13th, 2018

Each year, hundreds of volunteers from children to teens to adults, come together to complete more than 100 projects. In just one day, a wide range of projects are completed throughout Western Crawford County including leaf raking, wheel chair ramp building, painting, general clean-up, and much more!

The Make a Difference Day (MADD) Hotline (814) 337-1251 opens Wednesday, September 5th and closes Friday, September 21st. Those who have projects they would like to have completed by Make A Difference Day crews may call the hotline during this time*.  We also welcome groups and individuals looking to volunteer to register via the links below:

The MADD Committee is seeking financial and project material donations for Make a Difference Day as well as other year-round Community Improvement Center (CIC) projects.  For more information on MADD/CIC project applications, volunteer sign up or donations, please contact United Way at (814) 337-1251.

* Organizers stress that submitting an application doesn’t guarantee the project will be accepted. Volunteers must visit work sites to assess the safety and the scope of the project.
