Fee structures vary immensely due to levels of care/residency and types of accommodations. Some special financial arrangements can be made for those who meet financial criteria, yet lack sufficient resources to totally fund their program of care. This practice is consistent with the benevolent history of the United Methodist Church.
Agency Programs and Services:
Independent Living: Residents live totally independently in private homes; several support services are provided Assisted Living: Residents live independent lifestyles in residential suites while linen, maid and dietary services are provided; additional support with daily activities such as bathing, diet or medication are available Skilled Nursing Care: Provides 24-hour physician-ordered nursing care Physical and Occupational Therapy Programs offered Social Services Registered Dietician on staff Full-time activities staff provide for recreation, craft and daily activity programs Extensive volunteer program Facility transportation services are provided Full-time chaplain oversees religious programming Medicare/Medicaid Certification Memory Support Center - Senior Care Center and Alzheimer unit Home Enriched Living Program (HELP): Meals delivered, Adult Day Care, In-Home Companion, Shopping, Home Maintenance, Housekeeping, Activities of daily living
Type of Agency:
Independent Living: Applicant must be 62 years of age (spouse - 55 years) and completely independent. Assisted Living: Applicants must be 65 years of age, ambulatory and function well with minimum assistance. Skilled Nursing Care: Admission by a physician's order only. Those 65 years of age and over are the primary recipients of care, although there is no definite age restriction.
