The United Way of Western Crawford County’s Community Investment Cycle for Funding Year 2027 is now open!
We invite interested 501c3 agencies to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI). Please share what you would like to work on, who you are working with, and how your proposed work will make an impact in our community.

As you complete the LOI, please keep all responses concise. We encourage collaboration and a strong focus on alignment with ONE of our four impact areas:
- Youth Opportunities
- Healthy Community
- Community Resiliency
- Financial Security
The Community Investment Committee will consider the following areas when reviewing submissions:
- Community need
- Impact area alignment
- Population/community reach
- Program approach
- Expected impact and outcomes
- Measurement
- Community gaps
- Collaboration
- Feasibility
- Organizational capacity and funding
Please note that submission of a Letter of Intent does not guarantee funding or approval to proceed to the next stage of the Community Investment process.
