🎣 United Way Bass Classic: Kids Edition – A Reel Success!
Sunday, July 20th, brought smiles, sunshine, and plenty of excitement to Rainbow Dam, nestled just behind Meadville Area High School, as kids and families gathered for the first-ever United Way Bass Classic: Kids Edition!
Thanks to the permits of Meadville Area Middle School, the City of Meadville, and the PA Fish and Game Commission, the event kicked off at 1:00 PM with lines in the water for a fun-filled two-hour fishing competition. Young anglers competed in two age groups: 8–11-year-olds and 12–15-year-olds, showing off their casting skills and patience.

Age 8-11 Winner: J. Lipiec with an impressive total of 37.5 inches in total bass length.

Age 12-15 Winner: T. Uber with a 11.5-inch bass catch.

Families enjoyed a relaxed and fun afternoon on the water. Smiles, cheers, and laughter made this event feel like an instant classic!
